At Asplundh the importance of safety in the workplace for our staff, our clients and the public is our number one priority. Our safety systems have been developed from over 80 years experience in the industry and a safe workplace culture is our single strongest business philosophy.
Asplundh’s Health and Safety policy has been developed and implemented to comply with the requirements ISO 9001:2000, AS/NZS 4801 and AS/NZS 14001 and is certified and regularly audited. We ensure that our clients, their customers and our staff use industry accepted systems and procedures to get the job done in a safe and efficient manner.
Our Managing Director sits on a number of Code of Practice review boards in New Zealand, Australia and the US, ensuring any changes that arise from these boards are implemented. We take pride in being one of the first companies in New Zealand to introduce a drug testing policy for all employees.
