We are immediately seeking to fill a number of Arborist positions in within our North Shore and Auckland Central operations.
The work involves Line Clearance of streets and park trees throughout Auckland City.

To be considered suitable for this position, you must
- Have at least one year's full time line clearance experience
- Be conversant with the use of an EWP

Be
a skilled climber who is either fully qualified or is willing to work
- Holding a current HT licence is preferable. If this is not the case, have the ability to achieve to obtain a minimum of a Class 2 license
- Have a strong work ethic and have a production focused personality, with a willingness to learn.
- Have a good level of fitness and be a team player with a positive attitude
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit which is valid for at least one year.
While these are not apprentice positions, training to NZQA unit standards will be provided where required.

Grounds Operations - Contracts Supervisor - Queenstown/Wanaka

We are seeking to fill the position of Grounds Operations - Contracts Supervisor with our Queenstown and Wanaka operations.
The work involves: primarily providing front line supervision of allocated resources to fulfill all contractual components to the satisfaction of Asplundh and its client the Queenstown Lakes District Council throughout the Queenstown and Wanaka regions.

To be considered suitable for this position, you must
- Preferable have the National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 4) and/or a Turf Management equivalent qualification.
- Hold a minimum of a Class 2 license
- Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have a strong work ethic and have a production focused personality, with a willingness to learn.
- Have a good level of fitness and be a team player with a positive attitude
Your working experience must be able to show skills in:

Managing Staff and Sub Contractors

Grounds maintenance tasks and relevant plant and equipment operation - (Mowers, Tractors, Chainsaws, Chippers etc)

The Quoting of works and

Basic mechanics (repairs and maintenance)
