Qualified Arborists required in Queenstown and Wanaka
Location: Queenstown and WanakaAsplundh New Zealand has been the premier vegetation management and tree services Company in New Zealand since 1990. Our Head Office is based in Auckland while our operations span across the country employing over 200 staff.
We are immediately seeking to fill a number of Arborist positions in within our Queenstown and Wanaka operations.
The work involves: the care and maintenance of all streets and parks trees throughout the Queenstown and Wanaka regions.

To be considered suitable for this position, you must
- Preferable be a skilled climber who is either fully qualified or be working towards the National Certificate in Arboricultural (Level 4).
- Hold a current HT licence, or have the ability to achieve to obtain a minimum of a Class 2 license
- Have a strong work ethic and have a production focused personality, with a willingness to learn.
- Have a good level of fitness and be a team player with a positive attitude
We would also consider a good solid all-rounder with at least 1 year of full time tree work experience.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
While these are not apprentice positions, training to NZQA unit standards will be provided where required.
Please note as part of the interview process you will be required to under take a climbing trial in the applicable vacancy location. Additional criteria as Asplundh are a drug/alcohol free company and safety is our first priority, would be passing our pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol tests and the completion of reference checks.

The work involves the care and maintenance of streets and park trees throughout Auckland City.

- Be a skilled climber who is either fully qualified or is willing to work towards the National Certificate in Arboricultural (Level 4).

Experienced Utility Arborists required in North Shore and Auckland Central locations

To be considered suitable for this position, you must
- Have at least one year's full time line clearance experience
- Be conversant with the use of an EWP
